Since the beginning of
his memorial, over 100,000 of Kevin's key rings have been
distributed.
Something that started out as a local memorial in 1997, has become a
worldwide memorial since 1999.
Preserving the memory of our son, Kevin and hopefully helping others
become aware of the dangers related to driving under the influence. |

Born
January 12, 1981, Kevin was a young man from the eastside of Saint
Paul, Minnesota. He was the youngest of two children. From the time
he was two-years-old, he'd talk to anyone who would listen.
Kevin grew up doing all the things young people do. An athletic
person, he
played hockey and football, as well as baseball and golf. Baseball
and golf were his favorites. He was becoming a promising high
school pitcher.
Standing six-feet-four inches tall, he had a smile that would light
up any room. Active and fun-loving, Kevin attended Harding Senior
High School in Saint Paul. He had a steady girlfriend and also
worked a part-time job. Kevin was a member of Arlington Hills
Lutheran Church and had many great summer weeks at his church camp.
He owned more than his share of life. He was a wonderful son and
brother.
In
the Spring of 1998, Kevin was not on the pitcher's mound. Kevin did
not attend his Senior Prom, nor was he present for his graduation
with the Class of 1999.
The pain and sadness that we now live with everyday is unbelievable. |
